Minnie G. Jones' Obituary
Minnie G. Jones, age 57 of Newberry, FL passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at E.T. York Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born January 20, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama to Rev. Laurenza L. and Amanda McMillan Griffin. She graduated from Blount High School in Prichard, AL.
Minnie was a member of Westside Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching youth & college life groups. In addition, she loved music, reading and writing, and most of all she loved her children.
She is survived her husband of 27 years, Greg Jones; children, Zachary, Amari and Michael Jones; sisters, Lorene Campbell, Regina Love, Cassie Stallworth and Lenora Griffin; brothers, Herbert, Harold, Anthony and Kevin Griffin.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church with Pastor Asa Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jones Kids Fund, Campus USA Credit Union, account #3536884.
