Minnie B. Munden Holtzclaw's Obituary
Minnie B. Munden Holtzclaw, 84 of Bronson, passed away December 27, 2015 at Shands. She was born December 15, 1931 in Inglis, FL to Ester and Mary B. Stephens Munden. She enjoyed fishing with her friends, spending time with her family, gardening, and taking care of her three dogs.
Minnie was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Chancey, sisters, Esther Hiers Brown and Ernestine Munden and brothers, Daniel Munden and Ernest Munden. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Holtzclaw of Bronson; children, Carolyn Gocek of Gainesville, Glenda Polk (Larry) of High Springs, Mary Hunter (Larry) of Bronson and David Holtzclaw (Chloe) of Rome, GA; sisters, Joyce “Flow” Baker, Betty Desch, Geraldine Raulerson, Carrie “Kay” Moreau, Elizabeth “Chris” Carr and Dale Koch; brother, Delano “Lex” Munden; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at her brother Lex Munden’s home, 8286 SE 11th Avenue in Starke.
