Milton ‘Phil’ Noble
Born on September 18, 1940 in Washington, DC.
Died on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Gainesville, Florida.
Son of: Dorothy and Coleman Noble
Father of: Jared, Matthew, and Travis Noble
Grandfather of: Arlo and Levi Noble
Love of: Kathleen M. Rogers.
Friend of all who knew him.
Phil was born in Washington DC, raised in Front Royal, Virginia, and honorably discharged from the army as a military policeman in Marrifield, Virginia, after valiantly serving as a Marine in the Korean War.
He moved to Cocoa Florida with his first wife, Dolly now deceased, and their two sons, Jared and Matt. Years later, he met Diane Scott and his third son, Travis was born. He spent the last 23 years of his life building his dream homestead in Lochloosa, Florida with his wife, Kathy.
Phil was a musician, playing guitar and singing at the Grand Old Opry as back up to Patsy Cline and two other bands. He was a member of the Midnight Wind and the Stockyard Band for many years. He was a DJ on radio station Light Rock 99.3 in Brevard County, Florida and finally a transportation supervisor for the Mears corporation.
Sadly, on February 9, 2023, Phil passed away, in the company of his loving family, at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Lochloosa, FL.
