Mildred Dukes Hathaway's Obituary
Mildred Dukes Hathaway, age 92 of Archer, FL passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born September 17, 1925 in La Crosse, FL to Johnnie and Rosetta Davis Howell.
Mrs. Hathaway was a loving wife and mother, always there for everyone. She loved children and caring for them. She worked for many years at Shands in the formula department mixing medicines for sick babies. She was a member of Glen Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Dukes of Archer and Kenneth Dukes of Bronson; sister, Colleen Wiggins of Crescent City, FL, 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her husband Lou Hathaway, 5 children, Bill and Ronnie Dukes, Annette Page, Jimmy and Alvie Dukes and 4 of her siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor Phil Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Hague Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
