"Mike" Reaves' Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we share that Larry Michael “Mike” Reaves, has passed away on June 21, 2024, in Hawthorne, Florida, at the age of 69. He was born on December 6, 1954, in Hollywood, Florida, to Carlton and Elise Reaves. In his last moments, he was surrounded by his family, immense love, and respect. A 50-year member of Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 719, he had an unwavering work ethic. He was an avid outdoorsman, with an appreciation for being a true "Gladesmen". He never apologized for the person that he was and loved his family with a profound strength.
Mike is survived by his wife, Bonnie Reaves, his sister, Patricia (Ron) Baughman, his four children, Chester (Sandy) Reaves, Kim (Mike) Berger, Chatty (Tony) Morris, Mike Reaves II, and his seven grandchildren, Cody, Mason, Dayton, Kylee, Jack, Sam, and Gauge. Additionally, his two step-daughters, Emily (Kyle) and Jessica (Arron) and their five children, Olivia, Dawson, Avery, Lucas, and Arrica.
Mike built his life in South Florida and later retired in Hawthorne, Florida. In honor of his wishes, in lieu of a service, we will hold a “Celebration of his life” in both areas at a future time to be determined.
