Robert Molina
Hi, my name is Robert Molina. I know you don't know me, but I went to High School with Mike in Grant's. We were good buddies. Mike loved hot rod's at that time as do I. We did lot's of thing's as youngster's. My memories with Mike are when we drove in the back seat of George Davenport's 57 Chevy. It didn't have seat's in the back but we sat on the floorboard. We thought it was the coolest. You see George was Much older than us then. The time after Mike crashed his Dad's car into the cattle guard on the old Lobo Canyon road. He suffered a lot then but he was determined to get well and he did. We went to the St. Fair in my Dad's 68 Chevy Impala. On the way home we picked up a couple oh girl's hitch hiking. That was an experience! LOL! Me and other friend's would go visit Mike at the Chevron Station after hour's , where he worked and hung out till he closed up. Gary, Ricky and other's.Mike alway's had name's for all of us, some funny some just crazy! I lost contact with Mike after I graduated and went into the Army where I served for 10 yr's. When I came back he'd already moved to Florida. After many yr's I tried to contact him to no avail. but when I found out where he was he'd already passed on. I founf out just recently, 3 yr's later. Mike was my best friend. I'll remember him in my heart as my hot rod buddy! Love to all his family!
