Michael “Mike” David Stark
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mike Stark on September 23, 2024. Mike was born on May 29, 1966 in San Jose California to John “Jack” Stark and Judy Stark. Mike moved to Florida in his 20’s and spent his life in the restaurant industry, where he met both coworkers and patrons alike who, along with his children, became his Florida family. Mike was an avid golfer and loved watching sports. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Mike enjoyed spending his time off of work golfing, watching any sport on TV but most importantly to him watching his kids in their sports and spending every chance he could with them.
Many may know Mike around town as a great bartender but to those he loved most he was “Dad”. He never gave up an opportunity to be with his family and loved his kids with his whole heart. Michael is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Judy Stark, who is now reunited with. Michael is survived by his Children; Miranda (27), Samuel (24), and Jessica (20), his sister Nancy of Jacksonville, FL, and his father John “Jack” Stark of San Jose, CA.
Services will be held Thursday, October 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry FL. All who loved him are welcome to join.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike’s name to the American Diabetes Association .
