So glad to see Steve Russell sign in, i was beginning to think i was the only person to remember Mike during his TV 20 years. He was a soul with his on personality. During those years he was spot on with his sportscasting .

Mike was my boss at TV 20 when I interned there as a student from the UF Journalism school and later when I was hired as TV 20's first weekend sports anchor. He was old school and at times I chafed when he made me do things but later I came to appreciate the things he taught me about the business and about how to do my job better. We didn't always stay in touch over the years but when we did we laughed and shared stories from our days at TV 20. My heartfelt condolences to the family; I am a better person for having known Mike!
