Melvin C. Lytle's Obituary
Melvin C. Lytle, age 80 of Alachua, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in North Florida Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lytle was born June 19, 1936 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to David Carl and Iva Umbel Lytle.
He proudly served his country in service and retired from the United States Army.
A loving husband and father, Melvin is survived by his wife, Sally R. Lytle; children, David C. (Kim) Lytle of Bryan, TX, James D. (Kerri) Lytle of Harker Heights, TX, Holly C. Lytle of El Paso, TX, Toby L. Lytle of Alachua, FL and April D. Lytle of Alachua, FL; brothers, Bob Lytle, Bill (JoAnn) Lytle of Tarrs, PA, Ron (Pat) Lytle of Confluence, PA and Robert (Darlene) Lytle of Scottdale, PA; sisters, Carletta (David) Wigle of Tarrs, PA, Frosty (Dickie) DeForrest of Tarrs, PA, Brenda (Larry) Glover of Confluence, PA and Mary Potoka of Youngwood, PA; sister-in-law, Rose Lytle of Tarrs, PA and grandson, David A. Lytle of Bryan, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy J. (Jack) Lytle and sister, Fransis “Sis” Shafer.
A Family Gathering will be held at Carletta & David Wigle's Home in Tarrs, PA on December 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. to honor Melvin.
