Maureen Sharon Koehler's Obituary
Maureen Sharon Koehler, age 64 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 in E.T. York Care Center. Maureen was born July 11, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to George John and Mary Cecilia Mulcahy Damicone. A nature lover, she enjoyed taking care of birds and she enjoyed bike riding on Brad’s mountain bike. Maureen was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 28 years, Brad; brother, Gregory Damicone and sisters, Peggy McManus and Patricia Damicone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 500 NE 16th Avenue, with Fr. Roland Julien and Fr. Steven Zehler as celebrants. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at St. Patrick’s Church. The family will receive friends Friday, August 12, 2016, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to your favorite charity in her memory.
