Maryann Bernadette Crescioni's Obituary
Maryann Bernadette Crescioni, age 78 passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Gainesville, Florida. She was born August 20, 1937 in New York City, New York to James Francis and Mary Frances Lynch Galligan.
Maryann grew up in Manhattan and attended St. Jean Baptiste High School. She retired from the US Civil Service. She moved to the Gainesville area in 2008 to be close to her family and attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed writing and she loved to crochet and scrapbook.
She is survived by her son, Charles Francis Crescioni and his wife Dee of Newberry and grandchildren, Serena Noel Crescioni, Charles Crescioni, III, Adam Arthur Crescioni and Gabriella Patrice Crescioni.
She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, James Francis Galligan, Jr., Florence Maginnis, Irene McGinn, Terese Kubik, Evelyn Grindall, Frances Galligan and Edna O’Rourke.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, November 14. 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Association of United States Army, https://www.classy.org/checkout/donation.
