Mary Jane "Janie" Seipp's Obituary
Mary Jane “Janie” Seipp, age 85 of Gainesville, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was born April 30, 1932 in Parkton, Maryland to William and Mary Baublitz Thompson.
Janie was the ultimate homemaker...she loved cooking and was also an accomplished self-taught seamstress able to sew just about anything. Janie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville. Above all else, Janie loved and would do anything for her family.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Seipp and brothers, James Dewey "Jimmy" Thompson and George Albert “Joe” Thompson.
Janie is survived by her son, Steven George Seipp of Gainesville and her extended family: Melisa “Missy” Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Brenda Steger, Kathleen Kern, David Thompson, Joy Michelle Thompson, Donna Gayle Thompson, Joanna May Thompson, Cheyenne Covington, Donald Riley, Laura Ann Riley, Patricia and Ed Murphy, Jeanette and Alan Tremaine and Ann Armacost.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Eline Funeral Home 934 S Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD. with a reception following at Salem UMC Falls Rd, Hampstead, MD. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gainesville, FL.
