Mary Melayne Reinert Gianos, RPh, of Gainesville, passed away on December 4, 2022, in Gainesville, FL.
Mary was born in Gainesville, Florida to John and Mollie Reinert. She graduated from St. John’s Literary Institute in Frederick, Maryland. She went on to earn a chemistry degree from Hood College, Frederick, Maryland and graduated with honors. Then she graduated with honors from the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy. She worked as the Pharmacy Manager at Hunter’s Crossing Publix and Millhopper Publix for 25 years.
Mary enjoyed taking care of her patients, spending time with her family, and playing with her little dog Foxxie.
Mary is survived by her husband William R. Gianos; her loving parents, John and Mollie Reinert; brother, Patrick Reinert; stepson, Dallas Gianos; cousins, Bradley and Todd Harn.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Faith Catholic Church. The funeral mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Madeleine Catholic Memorial Garden Cemetery, in High Springs.
