Mary Lois Cassels Tetstone
Age 98 passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born to Martin White and Carrie Bell Gilliland on December 25, 1923 in Weogufka, Alabama.
She is predeceased by her son, Elmer (Vicki), 2 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her son, Edgar (Pauline) & daughter Lois (Danny). Mary had a large family. She was also predeceased by 2 grandchildren. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and numerous great -great grandchildren. Mary enjoyed her years of working as a cottage parent at Sunland Training Center. Her passions were fishing and cooking for large family gatherings. She could grow anything and her yard was a testament to her green thumb. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Hawthorne 22205 S.W. 69th Ave Hawthorne, FL. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00 A. M., at Antioch United Methodist Church, Lochloosa, FL Please join the family for refreshments in the church immediately following burial in Antioch Cemetery.
