Mary Louise Kilkenny Borah's Obituary
Mary Louise Kilkenny Borah ’50, died November 28, 2021, in Gainesville, Florida at the age of 92. Following graduation from Westbrook Jr. College in Portland, Maine in 1948, she transferred to Colby College in September 1948 as a junior. She met her husband to be at that time, and following their graduation in 1950, were married on September 9, 1950, in Belmont, Massachusetts. They moved to New York City where her husband was employed.
With the exception of two years in Chicago, she lived in the New York area with the last home in Lloyd Harbor, N.Y. Following her husband’s retirement in 1984 until 2019 she lived in New London, New Hampshire, and Palm Desert, California, and traveled a good deal of the world. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and was involved in significant charitable activities as well as Jazzercize, dancing, tennis, and golf.
Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Borah ’50, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
