Mary Lou continued her work as a nurse while Bill finished his internship and they moved to Ann Arbor, MI for his residency.
Mary Lou and Bill settled in St. Petersburg Florida in 1958 where they lived for 50 years. Having both grown up in cold weather, they were happy to leave snow shoveling behind for fishing, swimming and golf. Mary Lou took great pride in never loosing a game of Gin Rummy to anyone in her family.
