Mary Hill Herbert's Obituary
Mary Hill Herbert died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Clare Bridge in Gainesville. She was born and raised in Gainesville, attended Alachua County public schools and was a graduate of Florida State University. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and Friends of the Library.
She is survived by her husband, John H. Herbert, Jr.; sons, John Robert Herbert (Barbara) and Phillip W. Herbert; granddaughter, Sandra Decker (Chris); grandson, Michael P. Herbert; great grandson, Jordan Decker and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., in First Presbyterian Church, with The Rev. Dr. Robert Shettler officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to First Presbyterian Church, 106 SW 3rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32601, Friends of the Library, 430-B North Main Street, Gainesville, FL 32601 or Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
