Mary Janet Harwood's Obituary
Mary Janet Harwood, age 87 of Alachua, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Gainesville. She was born July 12, 1930 in Bennington, Vermont to Henry and Mary Louise Trombley Boutin.
Mrs. Harwood enjoyed golf and shopping. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Pendergast and her husband James of Charleston, South Carolina; Frederick W. “Ted” Harwood, Jr. and his wife Shelly of Alachua, Florida; Michelle A. Cole and her husband Donald of Port St. Lucie, Florida; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Harwood, sister, Marjorie Caron and brother, Alfred Boutin.
There will be no local service. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Boulevard, Gainesville, FL 32606.
