Mary L. Crosby's Obituary
Mary L. Crosby passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was born August 24, 1930 in Pickton, Texas to William Estus and Euna Mae Hallman Stewart. She was a homemaker and loved to serve her family and others. Married to Al Crosby for 60 years, they lived in Gainesville for 15 years following his retirement. They had many friends in the area and attended Northwest Baptist Church. She resided at Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park since Al’s death in 2009. She loved and was loved by all is greatly missed today.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Crosby. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Crosby of Germantown, TX, Ron Crosby of Troy, MT, and Glenn Crosby of Gainesville, FL; daughter, Debbie Browning of Madison, FL; sister, Martha Jo Haynes of Deerfield, TX; niece, Linda Mitchell of Ft. Worth, TX, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Countryside Cemetery, NW 39th Ave., at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roy Gerald officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
