Dearest Marvin,
I can’t forget the first day I came to your office to seek advice from Dean McMillin You spent three hours of your busy day to listen to my life story when I had trouble making up my mind about how to plan for my future in a new country. When I left your office I felt you were my guardian angel. With the support of your kind ear, big heart and expert advice, I made up my mind to become a teacher. You then, became my trusted and valuable adviser throughout my entire years at the College of Education.
I had the great good fortune to meet Dear Nancy during my internship. Ever since then, you and Nancy became my family and welcomed me into your family as one of your own. I always thought you were a wonderful couple who couldn’t be apart for long. You proved me right. You are now with your lovely Nancy. You will both always be in my thoughts.
Rest in peace dear brother.

My name is Trudy Bingham. My husband, Steve, and I have many pleasant memories of Marv and Nancy. We became members of Trinity United Methodist Church in 1997. During the past 10-20 years, Steve had many health issues related to cancer. Marv would meet us at the hospital before surgeries and procedures to pray with us and reassure us that God was in control. Whenever Steve recovered, Marv and Nancy would always greet us at church and check on Steve to see how he was doing. Steve was the Director of Bands at Santa Fe College for 15 years and directed the Sonlight Band at church for 18 years. Marv and Nancy were always there to cheer Steve on in his recoveries and musical endeavors. Steve passed away on December 12, 2023, and I am sure that he is one of many who has welcomed Nancy and Marv into God's heavenly kingdom. I will be unable to attend Marv's service due to a prior family commitment, but I will be there in spirit and am praying for peace and comfort for Marv and Nancy's family.

Jenny McMillin( daughter No. 5) lit a candle in memory of Marvin McMillin

Dr. McMilln had four daughters with only two remaining at home, he got a call from No. 5 on behalf of No. 4. She had mistakenly tirned en rote to pick up No. 5.The car was injured, for sure. She was terrified what her parents would do to her. But when they arrived home, her amazing father walked out of the house toward her with both arms extended to embrace her. Thats how much "trouble" she was in! He knew she was scared, and more than anything wanted to comfort her. Bc he loved her! That was Marv McMillin!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🫶🫶😍
