Marvin "Mickey" Jeffers' Obituary
Marvin “Mickey” Jeffers, 55, of High Springs, FL died unexpectedly, Friday, January 20, 2023. Mickey was born January 18, 1968, in Jacksonville, FL to Robert and Dorothy Mustang Jeffers. He worked most of his life in retail management. Mickey loved spending time with his family, they were the joy in his life. He was a dedicated husband, father, and friend. He also loved his dog, Luigi, and affectionately called him Lou Man. Mickey was a hard worker and had a very strong faith in God. He was an avid Florida Gator fan and enjoyed watching wrestling on television. All who knew and loved him will miss his presence in their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Cathy Cobb, and Bobby Jeffers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Banner, children, Shane (Michelle) Jeffers, Charles Poindexter, Brandon Poindexter, and Kaitlyn Noelle Jeffers, and sisters, Shelly Ann Trahan and Connie Carter, his mother-in-law, Marlene Banner, and Charles and Faye Poindexter. He has one grandson on the way who will be named Myles Marvin Jeffers. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Williams-Thomas Westarea Funeral Home 823 NW 143rd St.
