Marvin Curtis "Curt" Anderson's Obituary
Marvin Curtis “Curt” Anderson, age 68 passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was born February 3, 1954, in Huntington, West Virginia to James A. and Clara Margaret Stump Anderson.
Curt went to Huntington high school, and technical school after for auto repair. He was a talented auto mechanic who had a passion for anything automotive related. Curt alongside his son J.C. Anderson was owner operator of Curt’s Auto. He was 25 days short of retiring after 50 years of working as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed camping, concerts, collecting antiques and cars. You would often catch him cruising around town in his 1960 red convertible impala. He got great joy in making people laugh, telling jokes, and doing pranks.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roxanne; mother, Margaret Anderson; children, Jeromy Anderson, Jarrod (Lisa)Anderson, James “J.C.” Anderson, Rebecca Monrabal (Nick), Tiffany O’Brien, Ave’ Anderson; sisters, Jeannie Manis, Joyce Anderson Collier and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Anderson.
The family of Curt invites you to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the American Legion in Gainesville, 4701 NW 6th Street Gainesville, FL 32609. Please dress casual. If you have a classic car you can drive to the celebration of life, please do.
