Martha Elizabeth Grant Glavin, 78, of Gainesville, FL. passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
She was born on March 15, 1945, in Miami Beach, FL. to Ralph Frederick and Elizabeth Payne Grant.
Martha earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida.
She was a homemaker, teacher, devoted wife, loving mother and good friend. Martha always had a positive attitude about everything. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.
Martha is survived by her husband of 58 years Fred, children: Frank, Grant and Elizabeth Glavin, brothers: Paul and Fred Grant.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Glavin.
A celebration of Martha’s life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 N.W. 143 St. Newberry, FL.
Interment will be in Milton Historic Cemetery Milton, FL.
