My mother, Marty as she was known by friends and family, was a believer from a tender age. Family was everything to her. She was a kind and caring soul who accepted many into her heart and home. Family was not limited to those with blood ties. She never had favorites and made sure that everyone felt loved and cared for. She loved all walks of life, never turning her back on someone due to differences of opinion, religion, political view or anything else. She loved wholeheartedly and would do anything within her power to help others out. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She used her creative talents for anyone who could use them. She was a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She fostered hope and love in all those around her who were infected with her wonderful wit and amazing smile. She was a fighter, she battled breast cancer in her early 40's and battled lymphoma for the past 2 years. She will be immensely missed.
