Marjory Beville Morgan's Obituary
Mrs. Marjory Beville Morgan 88, passed away on February 3, 2015. Marjory was a third-generation Gainesville native. She was born to the late Henry and Dorothy Miles Beville on May 11, 1926. She graduated from PK Yonge High School and was working at the University of Florida when she met Marcellus Morgan, who was attending UF. They married in December 1947 and settled in Gainesville to raise their family. Marjory was a homemaker, a great cook and "Mom" to many neighborhood kids. She was a quiet, gentle soul who loved her family, and in her later years, her many dogs. She was a Gator fan and enjoyed camping and traveling with the family to the beach and mountains for weekend getaways and annual vacations.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas Miles, her children, sons Marcellus Morgan Jr., David (Dawn) Morgan and daughter Susan Morgan (Curtis) Desbrow; grandchildren David Morgan, Maria Morgan (Michael) Caruso; great grandchildren Landon and Lucas Caruso. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Dorothy "Sissy" Clayton, Virginia Ragsdale and Ruth Miles; her beloved husband of 45 years, Marcellus Morgan, Sr. and a son, Henry Morgan.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
