Marjorie Gregory's Obituary
Marjorie Gregory, age 69 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She was born September 23, 1955, in Utica, New York to George and Evelyn Hyder Namey. She was one of seven children, her siblings were Sally Northrup, Christine Williams, Barbara Namey, Gregory Namey, Randy Namey and Jamie Namey.
Marjorie was the first woman to work for Frito Lay driving a truck in Broward County.
She loved fishing, boating, and being around people. She loved to talk, gave good advice and one thing for sure, she would always listen. She loved making sure her yard was kept nice. She loved her plants and her dogs.
Marjorie leaves behind her daughter, Tonya J. Lanneaux; three grandchildren, Tiffany Hunter, Haylee Hunter and Jacob Lanneaux; four great grandchildren, Benjamin Roldan, Octavia Roldan, Sophia Johnston and DJ Johnston, she loved her babies.
She will be missed very much. And when she left us, a piece of all of us went with her. ‘Till we meet again, you will be forever loved.
