Marilyn Darcy Ellis' Obituary
Marilyn Darcy Ellis was born on February 19, 2000, in Gainesville, Florida to Joseph Darcy Ellis and Mary Kaye Clements Ellis. Marilyn’s life ended tragically in a boating accident on May 17, 2022. She attended Mc Innis Elementary School in DeLeon Springs, FL and Pierson Middle-High School in Pierson, FL. where she was in the Honor Society and played snare drum in the band. She had completed her Junior year at Stetson University in Business Entrepreneurship in DeLand, FL.
She attended the Aveda Institute Esthetician School in Clearwater and would have graduated in June. At a young age, she loved to travel visiting many countries. Marilyn was all things to all people, a beautiful, intelligent, nurturing young woman, full of life with goals and objectives for her future. Marilyn will be joining her father, Darcy in Heaven, who passed away two years ago of Lymphoma.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Kaye Clements Ellis, her sister, Sarah Kaye Ellis, her maternal grandmother, Renae Clements, her aunts Catherine Clements Beeny and Kendra Clements Pennell, her paternal grandmother, Kathryn Ellis. Uncles, John Ellis, Todd Ellis and Harvey Ellis, and many cousins.
A service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Williams Thomas Funeral Home West, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL 32669.
