I am one of Joey's many cousins. Her dad and my father were brothers.
When I was just a few months old we were at Log Landing.Joey and all the others would run around and play while the adults visited and fished. Mother had placed me on the hood of the car in the shade . Joey told me that they would all come over and play with me. Also, when I was about 4 she encouraged me to talk to her sick sister and show her my doll.
As life has it I did not get to keep in touch with her but she always had a place in my heart. Prayers for all of you!
