Marial Alfred Nall's Obituary
Marial Alfred Nall passed away on December 27, 2017 in Gainesville, FL. After surviving a major heart surgery, Alfred struggled with Parkinson’s Disease and disability for eleven years before finally answering the call home to be with his Lord and Savior. Alfred was born in Dothan, Alabama and had recently turned 91 years old. He was the last surviving of eight children born to Marion and Ary Nall. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 70 years, Emily Mildred Nall, his adored only daughter, Patricia Ann Bell and his favorite son in law, her husband, Herbert Eugene Bell. His grandchildren also remain to remember and celebrate his life: Christopher and Melinda Bell, Deborah and Bradley Martin as well as Steven and Ann Bell. Alfred also has six great grandchildren: Victoria, Patrick, David, Emily, Chelsea and Natalie. His many nieces and nephews were especially dear to him and will remember Uncle Alfred’s visits and jokes.
Alfred served God and Jesus Christ all of his life as a devoted member of three churches including Center Baptist in Webb, AL, Southside Baptist in Lakeland, FL and Southside Baptist in Dothan, AL. Before retiring, Alfred worked for Independent Life Insurance Company for over 35 years; in the latter part of his career he traveled throughout Florida and much of the southeast as an insurance auditor. He was proud to be a Freemason for over 55 years and a member of the Scottish Rite. He loved to fish and explored the United States with his family members, crossing the country by car many times.
Beloved of God and earthly family, Alfred Nall will be sorely missed. Funeral Service will be held at the Williams Thomas Funeral Home Westarea (823 NW 143rd St, Newberry, FL 32669) on January 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM. There will be a viewing beginning at 2:00 PM.
