Maria Theodora "Teddi" Clark's Obituary
Maria Theodora "Teddi" Clark, 80, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center. Teddi was born on January 22, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Henry and Bertha Horn. As a military wife, Teddi raised her family in Washington, DC, Texas, Florida, Colorado, and Mississippi before moving back to Florida and residing in Gainesville. Teddi was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church, was an avid reader and Gator fan and enjoyed going to the baseball and basketball games.
Teddi was preceded in her journey to God by her sister and four brothers. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Lawrence L. Clark, Sr.; daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Herrington of Brandon, MS; son, Thomas (Marci) Clark, II of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Lawrence (Beth) Clark, Jr. of Malabar, FL; and son, Michael (Tammy) Clark of Gainesville, FL; and 9 grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43RD Street, with Fr. John Phillips as celebrant. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, Jonesville.
