Margret was my fst cousin and was 6 years older than me. She and her little sister Lela Belle were like big sisters to me. I just lived down the street from them in Clinton, Tennessee we loved going to each other’s houses to play. Their mother Lela was my daddy’ Older sister.
My very last memory of Margaret was being in her home in Fl the night before My Husband Jerome and I were to catch a cruise where he was to be the Protestant Chaplain. Just before we sat down to dinner the door bell rang an in walked her two sisters Lela & her husband Scotty And Mildred. It was a complete surprise to Jerome and I. We had a wonderful time reminiscing and sharing stories around the Christmas tree!. Even though it was close to Easter. One of her children had not been able to be there for Christmas but was coming that week, so she made sure everything was still ready for them. She Loved her family and Jesus and and showed His love to all. she’ll be missed by her loved ones but is having a great reunion in Heaven.
Praying for each one of you during this difficult time. Margie Sue Stokes Brock & Jerome,
