Margaret Louise Ripley Veber's Obituary
Margaret Veber (Maggie) was as kind and friendly a person as you will ever know. She would happily give any person the shirt off her back if asked. A loving mother, sister, Aunt, daughter. She shared her Christian spirit of respect and love to all, with her children and all she met.
Born in Miami as a twin to sister Marjory (Marge). Daughter to Victor and Lois Mayo Ripley. She grew up in SW Miami on 16th St and 25th Ave across the street to Grandma Martha Ford Mayo. Her family attended the Coral Baptist Church on 32nd Ave for many years. She lived most of her first 75 years in Miami, later moving north to be near her daughter and her mother.
She is a graduate of Miami HS where she was a member of the school chorus continuing a lifelong love of music. Among her favorites were Jazz, Contemporary, light rock, and Pop. You would frequently find her whistling along with the music.
She loved nature and would be found out among her trees and flowers as often as time would permit. In the last few years when she could not make it out to her garden, she was blessed with her daughter Lori who maintained it for her enjoyment.
Mom was loved by so many who knew her. Her smiling face was known to many over the years working at many places including Eagle Army Navy, Sunset Drugs, and the US Post Office. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She was married to James Colbert Veber and is survived by her children James (Esther), Rick, David (Trudy) and Lori. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren David (Miranda), James (Autumn), great grands Griffin and Archer, Nieces Diane (Chuck), Darlene, Vicky (Miguel), Leslie Veber, Vicki Veber, Emma Burnside Maura, Nephews, Fredrick, Robert and William Burnside, Sis-in-laws, Louise Veber and Kitty Veber Burnside.
Her soul will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, Florida.
