Margaret S. Little's Obituary
Margaret S. Little, age 75 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Gainesville. She was born December 16, 1940 in Jefferson City, MO to Kenneth David and Lucille Higginbotham Summers.
She was a devoted member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She belonged to the R.C.I.A. Program and was an advocate for people with disabilities.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Thomas Little and sister, Elizabeth Mengwasser.
She is survived by her children, Anne Marie Little, Stephen Paul Little, Douglas Anthony Little, Paul Phillip Little (Kelly), Michael David Little (Marcella), Theresa Josephine Little (Elle VanDermark) and Virginia Louise Little; sisters, Patricia Stone, Colleen Kliethermes, Marian Hicks and Stephanie Summers; brothers, John Summers, David Summers, James Summers, Charles and Joseph Summers; grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacklyn, Briana, Conner, Aisling, Aoife, Kate and Josh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Ave. with Fr. Kazimierz Ligeza as celebrant. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Interment will follow in Memorial Park West cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to L’Arche USA, 1130 SW Morrison St. Suite 230, Portland, Oregon 97205.
