Margaret C. Cohen's Obituary
Margaret C. Cohen, 70, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Palm Garden Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Margaret was the daughter of the late Alex A. and Rita Cohen. She moved from Costa Rica to Gainesville over 50 years ago. She was a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Her working career was spent in the travel industry, where she had the opportunity to travel and see the world. Margaret enjoyed watching sports and was a big fan of the Gators. She loved her dog, Gwenn.
Survivors include her brother Alex (Sue) Cohen, Jr. of Ripon, WI and her sister Rita (Dan) Uhler of Spring City, TN.
There will be no services. Williams-Thomas Funeral Home in Gainesville is in charge of the arrangements.
