His presence brought peace to my soul. His soft voice and kind words made me feel life is worth living. My God father left me, but the memories of the quality time we spent with him will last for ever.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the news of Manickratnam Sir.
Everyone from my family have known him since past 30 years . He is highly regarded and also a beloved member of our extended Ghawalkar family with whom we shared warm greetings, strong connect and a unique relationship.
He always charmed us with his simplicity, politeness, warmth and contagiously positive smile.
When we first invited him for Adhis first birthday in CT, he was present there and blessed us. Many occasions when Me and Shraddha shared food, he made sure he recalled them and appreciated.

There are infinite great things to say about thatha but I want to take a moment talk about the strength my grandfather had specifically. He is, was, and will always be one of the strongest people I have ever met. When I was 8, that strength came from the fact that he could go on the rollercoaster hulk, but now I know that his strength came from every aspect of his life. He was strong enough to forego his country to live with us, strong enough to withstand all medical treatments just so he could spend more time with us, and now? Strong enough to leave us with his teachings and memories to guide us. A couple of days back, I cried to my mom that I didn’t get any closure or any time to say goodbye. The truth, though, is that I won’t ever be strong enough to say goodbye to him. So, the only way I can get through this is not to treat this as a goodbye. I sometimes think that this is all a dream or some alternate universe where forever things don’t last. But I want to tell everyone that even though thatha is not physically here with us, he will always be by our side. With every milestone in our career, during every birthday celebration, and whenever we all meet again. My life will forever be defined “before April 19th” and “after April 19th,” but I can only hope that during the after, I take every lesson my thatha taught me and be the best version of myself he always knew I could be.
I miss you more and more everyday, but I know that you are in a better place now. I love you so much, thatha, and thank you for the best 16 years of my life.

We are privileged to have known Manickaratnam Mama over the last eight years. His pleasant smile and calm demeanor always made us feel comfortable around him. Our interactions with Mama were during social gatherings following devotional meetings. We always felt blessed just to be in his presence. We will continue to cherish our memories of his physical presence among us, but rejoice in his merging with the One.

It is very saddening to hear about uncle's passing -- he was such a gentle soul and greeted us with the kindest smile and words always! His lovely memories will always be with us. We pray for him to rest in peace and for strength to the near and dear to bear this loss and celebrate his life.
