Lynn D. Herring's Obituary
Lynn D. Herring, age 72 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at home.
Lynn was born November 11, 1944 in Live Oak, Florida to Leo Lott and Freeda Greene Herring. He retired as police sergeant from Gainesville Police Department after 20 years of service.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Jackie Herring; sons, Dwight, Jonathan, Woodrow and Joseph Herring; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., in Powell Cemetery in McAlpin. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to American Heart Association, 3324 West University Avenue, #128, Gainesville, FL 32607.
