Lynette Whitehurst's Obituary
Lynette Whitehurst, age 44, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Winter Park, Florida. She was born on May 12, 1978, in Gainesville, Florida to William Jackson and Cynthia Yates Whitehurst III.
Lynette enjoyed traveling, baking, crafts and exercising. She loved her family and friends and her dog Pippa. Lynette’s pride and joy and her greatest accomplishment was being “mom” to her beloved Caroline and Will.
Lynette graduated from University of Florida Levin College of Law and previously served there as an adjunct professor. She most recently practiced Law with Luks, Santaniello, Petrillo, Cohen & Peterfriend. She was a member of the Florida Bar since 2011. She also held an MBA from Saint Leo University.
Lynette is survived by her daughter Caroline Pudlo, son, William Pudlo; sister, Meredith (David) Gaitanis; parents, William Jackson (Cindie) Whitehurst III; nephews, James and Grant; aunts and uncles, June Burleson (Chris) , Vivian Wackowski (Wayne), Harriet (Larry) Jones, Jackson William (Charlene) Whitehurst; and many extended family members.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery 3240 N.E. 180th Ave. Williston, FL with brother Joe Smith officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00pm at Williams Thomas Westarea. 823 Northwest 143 Street Newberry FL
