I used to work at the assisted place where Miss Lula was living at. She was always so nice to me,when I gave her food be in the dining room or to her room. She always made me feel good about things. I am sorry that she is gone, but I know she is watching over me and talking to my folks.
We all, I'm sure, have beautiful memories of Mama Lula's cooking. We especially loved her lemon pound cake and 7-layer cookies. She even converted me to okra with her popcorn okra! What was most special about the amazing meals and treats we shared was the one ingredient she put in every serving: love. I bet she's cooking in Heaven! daughter Barb

My heart reaches out to you all. Lula, aka Nana Nana to my children Kim and Danny Boy was much loved and will be missed, but we take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord.
