Lucie Hagood's Obituary
Lucie Hagood, age 67 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born December 7, 1946 in Castries, St. Lucia. She was a member of The Pentecostals of Gainesville and the Hotel and Restaurant Association. Lucie, a people person, enjoyed traveling, gardening and shopping.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Nathaniel Hagood and daughter, Ursula E. Hagood, both of Gainesville, FL; mother, Fonada Preville; sisters, Madeline Gerard and Judy Preville, all of the West Indies; sister-in-law, Gladys Wright of Aiken, SC; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jones of Gainesville, FL and brother-in-law, Ronnie Jones of Gainesville, FL and loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Preville
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at The Pentecostals of Gainesville, 8105 NW 23rd Avenue, with Rev. J. W. Arnold officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Central Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Friday, June 20, 2014, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
