We grew up in Hilo but "met" Mr. Ford vicariously through his relative Margaret Ford Morris, a retired nurse in Tombstone, Arizona. Margaret spoke often of Lucas' father, who lived in Hawaii.

I remember Cousin Lucas fondly. My family members met with him and Jackie in Charleston, SC, in Highlands, NC, & in Newberry, FL. He was loving and fun. He put up with my constant questions about genealogy. I miss him. We are sending love and prayers to his family.

Lucas will be missed. He was originally my patient over a decade ago. He became a dear friend along with his wife Jackie. He and Jackie are the reason for our move up to north Florida. He was an innovator, had courage, compassion and a great sense of humor. He was the best listener ever and so wise!
He's in heaven now! My life was touched in a positive way by Lucas Ford. May peace be with Jackie and his family.
