One of the highlights of Gladys and my 40 years of marriage was when we flew to Las Vegas and met Lowell and Bobby Joe Harrison. We spent at least 4 days there and I think we covered all the casinos, Boulder Dam, 3 or 4 shows and just had a wonderful time of it. I am sure Lowell told you all about it. As it happened Gladys and I had been to Vegas several times in recent years and therefore we acted as guides because it had been years since Lowell and Bobby Joe had been to Vegas.
That trip is something Gladys and I will remember for the rest of our lives.
I always loved Lowell's humor, and was he ever a fighter. I remember clear back when he had leg braces, he was tough. Had some great times together.
The best to you and the whole family, sorry we are unable to be there.
