Louise Ely Marshall's Obituary
Louise Ely Marshall age 90 of Gainesville, Florida died at her home Wednesday, November 22, 2017. She was born March 20, 1927 in Madison County, Alabama to the late Ernest Elmer and Willie Mae Wagnon Brooks.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of Glen Springs Church of Christ and Women of the Moose. She loved to dance.
She was preceded in death by her first husband D.O. Ely in 1976, her son, Ray Ely in 1977 and her second husband, Bob Marshall in 2011.
She is survived by her two daughters, Geri (Gary) Goldstein and Cynthia Ely; two sons, Perry (Janet) Ely and Ricky Ely all of Gainesville; brother, Hubert Brooks of Alabama; two sisters, Gladys Brown and Doris Miller of Alabama; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, with Glen Springs Church of Christ Minister Phil Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park East. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
