Louis Labetti's Obituary
Mr. Louis Labetti, 63, resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida, following a long illness.
Mr. Labetti was born on November 23, 1958, in Queens, New York to the late Louis and Rose Labetti. He had resided in Gainesville for the past three years, having spent much of his life in Spring Hill, Florida. Mr. Labetti was a skilled Contrabass player and was member of many drum and bugle corps, in both New York and in Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Vala Labetti, of Gainesville; by three children, Louis Labetti and Michele Labetti, both of New Jersey and Brandon Sanders of Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville, with Rev. Calvin Carr, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Gainesville. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A. M.
