Louis was a great camping friend. We met him first in Maggie Valley, NC in the mid 80's and have been good friends every since. Please accept our deepest simpathy Dot and all the rest of his family.

What can be said about Louis that hasn't already been said many times. He was a caring person who would reach out to help anyone that would need his help. We know on many days after working 15 hours on 2 jobs that he would go help someone get a car running or fix a fuel oil heater in the middle of the night.
When he retired and was camping he would meet someone at the camp ground and then travel several states away just to help them put on a new roof or porch on their house.
He was just that kind of guy always helping his fellow man. In his later years he began going to church and as we all know he loved the Church Of Christ in Keystone Heights, Florida. That was his pride and joy and he loved everyone who attends church there.
Even when he would come to visit his "baby" sister in South Carolina or when he was camping in North Carolina he would always find a Church Of Christ and attend service there while traveling.
Louis was just a love able guy who love to play games and he always made friends very easy. He never met anyone that he didn't like or would learn to like or love. Our love goes out to his children and his wife Dot and we know their hearts are breaking now.
His baby sister and brother in law Don are at a lost and all of us have a void in our life now that can never be filled.
We love you Louis and we miss you but we know that you are in heaven watching over us and waiting on us to come be with you when the LORD calls us home too.

As Always..Colleen Davison and Jack would say "me too"
Louis was always so sweet to me. Everytime he saw me at church he would come up to me and give me a hug and ask how I was doing. He didn't always say alot but he had a quiet humility about him. He reminded me alot of my grandfather. I will miss him
