Lori Emmer Cain, born June 29, 1965, passed away on February 24, 2022 in Gainesville, Florida from a short battle with cancer. Lori was born in Miami, moving with her family to Gainesville at a young age. She attended Gainesville Read Obituary
I didn't know Lori well, but my interaction with her was always positive. In fact, my interaction with her was at GHS baseball and taking pictures for the team. Because of Lori's encouragement and using my photos too on the GHS baseball website, I became "meme" to so many of the guys and it created such wonderful memories for me. Thank you, Lori for giving me that awesome gift.
I was best friends with Lori's sister, Jodi, when we were kids. Lori was the typical little bothersome sister who followed us where ever we went. Jodi would get so aggravated but I didn't have younger siblings so I loved her being around. She accomplished so much in this life. My heart breaks for her mother, her husband and her children. I know she is at peace now and with her father and sister. My prayers are with you all at this time.
I'm so very sorry to hear about Lori. Lori was beautiful inside and out, a truly caring and loving person. If you met Lori you knew how amazing she was. She will be greatly missed.

I feel so fortunate to have worked for Emmer Group and to have gotten to know Lori. She truly left this world more beautiful and her memory will always be a blessing.
