I was on the official's stands in Mebane gym, officiating a volleyball game between two middle school teams....and coming across the floor toward me were two females...mother and daughter. I was the first time I had ever seen Lola and daughter Gina. One very proud mother of that future Santa Fe star athlete. Over the years I've run into Lola a few times, but we always picked up where we left off....talking about Gina. I will greatly miss you, Lola. She helped grow athletics for girls at Santa Fe High School
