Lisa Anne Childers' Obituary
Lisa Anne Childers, age 55, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Dade City, Florida.
Lisa was born in Manhasset, North Hempstead, New York on May 7, 1959, the daughter of Lillian Blanc Childers and Seldon Thomas Childers.
She is survived by her father, daughters, and son, Lisa Adriane Ogle of San Francisco, California, Christina Rose Childers of Gainesville, Florida and Mark Elijah Childers of Sedona, Arizona. Lisa also leaves behind sister, Laura Patterson of Brooklyn, New York, and brothers Jeffery Childers and John Childers of Gainesville, Florida and David Childers of Jupiter, Florida.
After graduation from High School in Tampa, Florida, Lisa joined the US Army and served her country from 1978-1984. She was primarily stationed in Japan.
Lisa was a devoted mother and daughter. She will be missed by her children and those who knew her well.
A funeral mass was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverend Fr. Roland Julien officiating.
