Linda Lee Racioppi's Obituary
Linda Lee Racioppi, beloved mother to four children, of Melrose, FL, passed away peacefully at her home, on January 21, 2025. She was 80 years old.
She was born in Hammond, IN, on October 14th, 1944, to Evelin and Ralph Pettit, she loved playing tennis and spending time with her mother. Linda received her master’s degree at the University of Florida and taught for the Alachua County Public School System for 25 years and was beloved by her students.
Linda was a devoted mother to Jennifer Davis, Adam, Heather, Justin and his wife, Lindsey Racioppi.
She was a lover of little dogs, crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and living in Melrose.
Linda is survived by her husband Joe of 50 years, her four children, and her five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Baughman Center on campus at the University of Florida, Sunday February 2 at 11am.
