Linda Lee Work Smith's Obituary
Linda Lee Work Smith, 75, of Orange Heights, Florida, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home, following a long illness.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Gainesville, Florida, born on February 26, 1943 to the late Julius and Mary Elizabeth Work. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School, Class of 1962, and worked a long career as a house mother at Sunland Training Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willard Smith. Mrs. Smith was a life long member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her sister and brother in law, Harriet and Richard Flake, and a nephew, Richard Flake, Jr., all of Fleming Island.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2:00 P. M., in the Evergreen Cemetery, 401 SE 21st Avenue, Gainesville, with Fr. Jeremy Hole, officiating.
