Linda G. Rohland's Obituary
Linda G. Rohland, age 75 of Gainesville, FL passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was born May 14, 1948, in Manassas, Virginia to George L. and Alma A. Peacher.
Linda was an animal lover, a kind and generous soul and very religious. She loved crocheting and knitting. Over the years Linda supported all kinds of charities.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann Lansford and husband, Alva Lawrence Cyphers IV; her sister and best friend, Sharon Montgomery (Jim); sister, Denise Carper (Hutch); brother, Gregory Peacher (Frances); sister-in-law, Cindy Peacher; two grandchildren, Anthony Chavez (Kennedy) and Alex Walters; two great grandchildren, Lola Chavez, Finn Chavez and Levy Chavez is on the way. Her closest friends, Donna Roth and Janet Swann.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, James H. Rohland, Sr. and her brother, Steven Peacher.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Cemetery, 10926 NW 39th Ave. with Dr. Don McGarity officiating. For those who wish donations may be made in Linda’s memory to Humane Society of North Central Florida, https://www.humanesocietyncfl.org/donate/.
